Election Day: We Want You!
Unless you have been living under a rock, November 4 is Election Day across the U.S. High voter turnout is anticipated throughout the country. However, let's not take anything for granted! Although the polls say that California is a slam dunk for Barack Obama, the only way we can make this statement true is to get out to vote on Tuesday, November 4.
We have the great priviledge in living in Alameda County --- where you can find the highest percentage of Democrats in the state of California. In past Presidential elections, Alameda County has turned out the highest voting percentage in the State. We need to beat the record of 76.5% for John Kerry in 2004. So get out there and vote.
Don't forget, however, we are not only voting for Obama as our next President. Your ballot contains a myriad of candidates, state propositions and county/local measures. Please review on our Endorsement listing below to see who and what the Democratic Party has endorsed for November 4.
Here's to victory on November 4 and a better world just around the corner! Only you can make it happen. Get out and vote!
